1. General Information
This Cookie Policy explains how SoftDarya uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on our website and platform.
Our goal is to protect the privacy of our users and to use optional technologies only when the required consent has been obtained.
Further information on the processing of personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy.
The SoftDarya platform is operated on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany.
2. What Are Cookies and Browser Storage?
Cookies are small text files that a website can store or read from the user's browser.
SoftDarya also uses so-called local storage. This allows information to be stored directly in the user's browser. Local storage is technically not a cookie. However, access to information on the end device may also be subject to data protection requirements.
SoftDarya fundamentally distinguishes between the following categories:
Required
Technologies that are absolutely necessary for the secure and proper operation of the platform and for functions explicitly requested by the user. This includes in particular functions such as login, session management and security features.
Maps
Optional technologies for displaying interactive maps within SoftDarya.
The map view is provided using Leaflet. The underlying map data or map tiles are loaded from the following services:
Official OpenStreetMap tile server: tile.openstreetmap.org
CARTO: basemaps.cartocdn.com (only on the search page; if an error occurs, a fallback to OpenStreetMap is used)
For converting addresses into coordinates (geocoding), the Nominatim service at http://nominatim.openstreetmap.org is used.
The map function is only activated after the user has consented to the "Maps" category. Before this consent, the aforementioned external map resources are not loaded.
Google Maps is not embedded as a map within SoftDarya.
When using features such as "Bring me there" or "Start route", the user may be voluntarily redirected to an external map service (e.g. Google Maps).
Marketing
Possible future technologies for advertising, conversion measurement or similar marketing purposes.
This category is currently not active.
3. Legal Basis
The storage of information on the user's end device or access to already stored information is governed in particular by the applicable statutory provisions, in particular § 25 TDDDG.
Consent is in particular not required if the storage or access is absolutely necessary in order to provide a digital service expressly requested by the user.
Insofar as personal data are processed, the following legal bases of the GDPR may be relevant depending on the processing operation:
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the provision of requested or contractually required platform functions
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interests, in particular the protection and security of the platform
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for optional services for which consent is required
For optional technologies, the required consent is obtained before they are activated.
4. Technically Required Cookies
SoftDarya uses the following own cookies, insofar as they are technically required for the respective functions:
Authentication/Session Cookie – sessionid
Purpose: Login, assignment of the active session and provision of protected account functions
Storage duration: Up to 30 days
Category: Required
Security attributes: Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite (where technically provided)
CSRF Security Cookie – csrftoken
Purpose: Protection against cross-site request forgery attacks on forms and write requests
Storage duration: According to the technical configuration, currently usually up to one year
Category: Required
Technically required cookies are only used to the extent that they are actually necessary for the respective function.
5. Own Browser Storage – Local Storage
SoftDarya uses local storage exclusively for storing the user's consent decision regarding optional technologies.
The stored consent decision allows SoftDarya to take the user's choice into account on subsequent visits.
If the user deletes cookies and browser storage, the previously stored consent decision can no longer be recognised. When visiting the site again, the user will therefore be asked again about the cookie settings.
Other permanent local storage entries, in particular for language settings or display settings (light/dark), are currently not used.
Users can delete local storage entries at any time via their browser settings.
6. Consent Management – Cookie Banner
When visiting SoftDarya for the first time, users can set their preferences for optional technologies.
The cookie banner offers the following options on the first level:
- Reject all
- Accept all
Technically required functions remain active to the extent that they are absolutely necessary for the secure and proper operation of the platform.
Optional technologies are not activated before the required consent is obtained.
A given consent can be changed or revoked at any time. For this purpose, the link "Cookie Settings" in the page footer is available, which can be used to open the consent window again.
Consent is voluntary, informed, specific and unambiguous.
7. Maps and External Navigation
SoftDarya can provide interactive maps on provider profiles to display locations and addresses.
For displaying maps within the SoftDarya platform, we use Leaflet. The map tiles are loaded from tile.openstreetmap.org and (only on the search page) from basemaps.cartocdn.com. For address search (geocoding), Nominatim (http://nominatim.openstreetmap.org) is used.
The map function is only activated after the user has consented to the "Maps" category. Before this consent, the aforementioned external resources are not loaded.
Navigation to a Location
SoftDarya can offer the option of opening a provider location in an external map service via features such as "Bring me there", "Start route" or comparable functions.
If the user selects Google Maps, for example, a corresponding external Google Maps website or the Google Maps app is opened. Google Maps is not embedded as a map within SoftDarya.
Further processing of data by the respective external map service, including any necessary location and navigation data, takes place in accordance with the privacy policy and terms of the respective provider.
User's Location
Using the current device position for navigation may require permission from the browser, operating system or the respective map app. This permission is managed by the device, operating system or browser used.
SoftDarya does not transmit the user's current live position to Google or other external map services. The location permission and further processing of location data take place only in the respective external map service or on the user's device.
The use of an external map service is optional.
8. Reach Measurement with Plausible Analytics
SoftDarya uses Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement of website usage.
In the intended configuration, no analytics cookies and no permanent personal tracking identifiers are used.
The measurement serves to statistically understand the usage and technical quality of the platform and to further develop SoftDarya.
Insofar as the concrete technical configuration meets the requirements, the processing takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
9. Google Analytics and Google Ads
Google Analytics and Google Ads are currently not active.
The "Marketing" category is technically prepared, but no corresponding marketing or conversion scripts are currently loaded.
Should such services be activated in the future, they will only be activated after obtaining the required consent. This Cookie Policy and, if applicable, our Privacy Policy will be updated in the event of such a change.
10. Payment Processing
SoftDarya currently does not offer payment processing via integrated payment providers. Therefore, no cookies or comparable technologies from payment service providers are currently used.
Should SoftDarya offer paid services in the future and use an external payment service provider for this purpose, the corresponding technical and data protection processing will be reviewed before implementation. The Cookie Policy and, if applicable, the Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
11. Managing and Deleting Cookies and Browser Storage
Users can view, block or delete cookies and browser storage entries at any time via the settings of their respective web browser.
Please note that blocking or deleting technically required cookies or browser storage entries may result in certain functions of SoftDarya not working or only working to a limited extent.
Your consent settings can be changed or revoked at any time via the link "Cookie Settings" in the page footer.
12. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technical features, services used or legal requirements change.
The current version will be published on this page. The date of the last update can be found at the beginning of this policy.
13. Contact
