Our Commitment
We want to create a digital environment that is as accessible as possible for people with different visual, auditory, motor and cognitive needs.
Accessibility is considered at SoftDarya both in the design and in the development and further evolution of the platform.
Our goal is to use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Conformance Level AA as a reference for our work.
Current Status of Accessibility
We regularly review our website with automated accessibility tools to identify potential barriers and improvement opportunities.
A recent review of the website using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool resulted in an accessibility score of 8.5 out of 10.
This result shows that numerous measures to improve accessibility have already been implemented. At the same time, an automated score does not mean that a website is fully accessible or officially certified to WCAG 2.1 AA.
Automated checks can only detect a portion of potential accessibility issues. We therefore treat the result as a reference point and continue to work on reducing existing and newly identified barriers.
Accessibility Measures
When developing and designing SoftDarya, we take into account, among other things:
- semantic HTML structures
- logical headings and page structures
- keyboard operability
- visible focus indicators
- meaningful labels for interactive elements
- appropriate color contrast
- descriptive alternative text for relevant images
- understandable and well-structured content
- support for screen readers and other assistive technologies
- the best possible usability at different zoom and display settings
Keyboard Navigation
We strive to make the essential functions of our platform accessible without a mouse. Interactive elements should be reachable and focusable via the keyboard. In doing so, we pay particular attention to a logical focus order and clearly visible focus indicators.
Screen Readers & Assistive Technologies
We use semantic HTML elements and – where required – appropriate ARIA attributes to improve how well our content is understood by screen readers and other assistive technologies. In doing so, we follow the principle that native and semantic HTML elements are preferred wherever possible.
Visual Design & Readability
We pay attention to a clear visual design, readable typography, appropriate spacing and sufficient color contrast. Our content should remain as readable and usable as possible across different screen sizes and zoom levels.
Accessible Content
We strive to provide content that is clear, understandable and well structured. Links and buttons should be labeled as meaningfully as possible. Images that are relevant to understanding content are provided with appropriate alternative text wherever possible.
Third-Party Content and Services
SoftDarya may contain content, offers, media or services from third-party providers. We do not have full control over the accessibility of content provided by external providers in all cases. Such content may therefore not fully meet our intended accessibility standards.
We strive to identify recognizable issues and – where possible – work together with the respective providers to achieve improvements.
Known Limitations
Although we continuously work on improving accessibility, there may currently be areas that do not yet fully meet the requirements of WCAG 2.1 Level AA. These may include, for example, individual content, components, third-party integrations or dynamic elements.
We review our platform on an ongoing basis and prioritize improvements that have a significant impact on accessibility and usability.
Feedback and Support
Your feedback helps us make SoftDarya more accessible.
If you encounter an accessibility issue, cannot use a feature with assistive technology, or need support, we look forward to hearing from you.
Please let us know, where possible:
- which page or feature is affected
- which barrier you have encountered
- which device or browser you are using
- which assistive technology you use, if any
- what kind of support you need
We will review your feedback and strive to provide an appropriate solution or alternative.
